What could have been?
I don't know if this will get any comments seeing how this comm has been dead for 2 years but I'm going to try! So I just watched the show for the first time and fell in love with Olive/Ned. Due to the show's untimely end I'd like to know...

What happened to Ned's feeling of jealousy at the end of Window Dressed to Kill? After that it was never hinted at again :(

Does anyone know if they were going to explore that relationship more if the show hadn't been cancelled?

*off to make some icons...*

I'm not sure if they meant to explore that as I'm not really sure if they meant he was jealous that Olive had someone else or about her ability to touch her partner :P Aside from that I'm in enough denial to believe that they might have exlored that relationship more if only because of the season one commentary xD

From the way the last few episodes were written, I got the impression that they would be exploring that dynamic in the future (although I doubt that they would have changed their endgame to Ned/Olive, if only because Bryan Fuller still seems pretty attached to Ned/Chuck, but a fan can dream). I've read an interview or two with BF in which he revealed some of the story lines they were planning on doing: all I can remember off the top of my head was that there was going to be a falling-out between Olive and the rest of the gang and that Chuck was going to run off with her dad and Ned would then chase after her like an overly dependent puppy. Take from that what you will.

And actually, I believe they did hint at Ned's jealousy again. Watch the beginning of Water and Power, when Randy drops by the Pie Hole to see Olive - Ned does not look happy to see Randy at first.
